Usage：Methyl salicylate is used as a fragrance agent in oral medications and ointments in pharmaceutical preparations. It is also used as a solvent and intermediate in the manufacture of insecticides, fragrances, coatings, cosmetics, inks, and fiber dyeing auxiliaries.
